SUP FITNESS STRENGTH | BALANCE | CONDITIONING
Standup Paddle Fitness is a new and fun recreational activity that helps improve your overall health and fitness level. Taking an exercise routine onto the water brings a new dynamic challenge where the constant fluidity and changing of the water requires you to stay balanced and creates a deeper mind body connection. SUP Fitness allows you to create a full body training program with your own bodyweight and resistance bands to train your legs, arms, shoulders, chest, back and core and also helps connect you to your local nature and environment. Add cardio to your SUP Fitness program with on water exercises to increase your heart rate, burn calories and build a stronger and more coordinated body. The ideal board for a SUP Fitness workout will be an all around board with a width of approximately 32" wide x 10" foot long in either a Hard, Foam or Standup Paddle Board. Using a narrower board will create additional balance demands and make many of the standing and arm balance exercises more challenging. |
